Your support ensures CAM remains a space that fosters artists and their work. Individual donations go directly to programming and events.
We support myriad endeavors – including readings, dance performances and multimedia installations – that are free of charge for attendees and curators. Our storefront windows have been home to month-long residencies and interactive work that incorporates our stretch of city block in Belltown.
Dedicated working artists in the space keep the lights on, but all events are non-monetized labors of love. This gives us the opportunity to cultivate a place of experimentation and amplify Seattle’s diverse creative community.
We’re in the process of developing paid storefront residencies and light box sign installations, giving local artists further support to perform, play, and create. But all of this takes funding.
Common AREA began as a community funded enterprise and it’s because of you we can offer even more opportunities for artists within Seattle.
